Walter Liu

Walter Liu is currently employed as the Senior Director, Category Management and Merchandising at Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A., Inc.  The company is a global producer, marketer, and distributor of fresh and fresh-cut fruit and vegetables headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida.  He is mainly responsible for the company’s category management and insights functions.  He started as a Retail Category Programs Manager with the company in 2003.  Before joining Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A., Inc. Walter worked in category management and insights roles with Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Lindt & Sprüngli in Toronto, Canada.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Western University in London, Canada and a Master of Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing from the Schulich School of Business, York University in Toronto, Canada. He recently completed the Doctor of Business Administration program at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.  Walter is originally from Toronto, Canada and lives in Coral Gables with his daughter Abigail.
